A modern Hill Country home built into a stand of live oaks, with white stucco, limestone, and a standing seam metal roof. The owners wanted a hardened safe room, so we framed a seventy-five square foot reinforced room into the plan rather than adding it on afterward.

Lake Placid

The largest of the three and the one built closest to water. The main living space opens onto the pool deck through a custom twenty-five foot accordion door, which meant coordinating the header, the slab edge, and the door supplier a long way ahead of installation.

The smallest house here and the one with the most character. Stucco and native stone under a metal roof, with custom exposed wood trusses in the main living space and a porch that wraps the entire house except the garage.
